Fleur de Sel
Delicate, hand-skimmed Celtic salt flower from Guérande, France.
Fleur de sel is the thin, delicate crust of crystals hand-skimmed from the surface of the salt marshes before it sinks — a small, weather-dependent harvest gathered only under the right conditions. Unrefined and non-iodized, it's traditionally used as a finishing salt, added at the table rather than during cooking.
