Our Salt

Why it tastes different.

Celtic sea salt is harvested from the tidal marshes of Guérande, France, using wooden tools and techniques passed down for generations. It's never refined, iodized, or bleached — it keeps the trace minerals it forms with, which is also what gives it its natural grey tone.

The salt marshes themselves are protected under Guérande's IGP (Protected Geographical Indication), and the salt is certified by Nature & Progrès — an independent guarantee that nothing's been added along the way.

Salt workers have harvested these same marshes by hand for over a thousand years.

Our Story

Noura brings something honest to the table — starting with salt, and nothing hidden in it.

Noura started with a simple idea: bring the salt our family already trusted into Moldovan homes, made exactly the traditional way. We're a small, new business — and there's more of this story still to tell.
